Sigma opens nominations for honorary membership

Indianapolis—Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing (Sigma) bestows honorary membership upon individuals of national or global influence who have furthered the course of healthcare. These esteemed individuals are not eligible for regular membership but demonstrate sustained superior achievements that contribute to the advancement of nursing and healthcare at national or global levels.

Recipients of honorary membership demonstrate a commitment to Sigma’s mission of developing nurse leaders anywhere to improve healthcare everywhere. The careers of these individuals demonstrate superior achievement and leadership, connecting and empowering nurse leaders, and transforming global healthcare.

To recognize an individual for their commitment to nurses and the healthcare field, submit a nomination by 1 December 2020. Honorary members will be recognized at Sigma’s 46th Biennial Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. Learn more.
